Whereas many New Zealand artists rightly turn their brushes towards capturing the majestic scenery of iconic New Zealand landscapes, gallery artist and Trust Board member, Sandra Barlow has embarked on a unique quest to present a series of paintings of five major New Zealand cities. Recently the fourth city in the series, Wellington was sold on its first day of showing. All four are now in private collections.

With the completion of her Christchurch composition, anticipated towards the Spring of 2023. the Welcome Swallow gallery, in prior agreement with the purchasers, will be bringing the five paintings back to the gallery for a special, highly anticipated exhibition that will also include several new compositions from the artist that will be for sale.
