Gallery artist Julie Mello uses a florid intuitive impressionist style to capture her subject. This is very evident in her composition, Waikato Life Blood, sold to American expats from Pennsylvania, who fell in love with it at first sight. The Waikato River now left the Resident Artists' Gallery, set to flow elsewhere.
