Following on from her Five Cityscapes showcase, Turner-Barlow has further developed her expressionist methodologies with a unique composition entitled, New Zealand Street. This hypnotic triptych. in the latest exhibition, Street Stories, emphasises simultaneously, both similarities and differences in what we recognise as dwellings familiar to New Zealand. Different shades in vegetation as well design imperatives are punctuated by a single door that is slightly ajar, indicating and inviting further dialogue around the street narrative presented. The gallery is proud to represent this iconic painting.
