The Volunteers' Choice Award, sponsored by local travel agents Calder & Lawson was handed out at the celebration exhibition launch on 1st May 2019. Seventeen volunteers voted, citing 45 pieces from the exhibition as worthy of the Award. The outright winner was Marilyn Rea-Menzies and her wonderful piece in conte and charcoal, Kauri with Ribbonwood Flowers. Marilyn was presented with a $500 travel voucher from Kirstin Tye from Calder & Lawson.
