As art works from the celebration exhibition continue to sell, one of our important paintings, Marilyn by Jos Coufreur has recently been sold to a local collector. Marilyn was very much part of the Welcome Swallow Gallery and Gifts estate and was originally not for sale. It was included as part of the celebration exhibition in the hope that the painting might be enjoyed in a new location. We are extremely happy that Marilyn now has a new home and that the proceedings from the sale will further benefit children who suffer incredibly tough lives.
