As the Gallery prepares for its first full exhibition launch since last February, Dr. Dorothy Gilson, Chief Executive of the Achieving Change for Children Charitable Trust (ACCCT) and Gallery Manager sees this as a great opportunity for the arts community to reconnect.

“Throughout the lockdown period the Gallery maintained its presence online and even managed to hold a great exhibition, A New Zealand Story. Since we have re-opened, we’ve had many people expressing relief that they can again enjoy our arts space while meeting with people who have like interests. We are excited to be able to hold a full launch this coming Friday 10th July from 5.30pm. In the past we’ve had up to 200 guests in the gallery who have celebrated our exhibition openings. Once more, we look forward to making our contribution toward hosting an event that enables New Zealand artists to display their talents”.
