Not a day in the new Resident Artists' Gallery and Kirsten McIntosh's  Auckland Sky Tower composition has been snapped up. It is a remarkable painting that appears as a photographic negative but is in fact a use of unexpected colours with many acrylic layers to build up colour and depth. Within minutes of hanging, several gallery viewers expressed strong interest in buying. Only one was able to purchase. And did so.
