Barlow's boulders
Sandra Barlow continues to attract buyers for her complex compositions that are reflective of the meaning of life and perhaps even beyond. Here we have a transfer of water partially impeded, from one level, in time and space, to another. The 'final' visual alert is a small red stone, bottom right. In terms of understanding the title of this intriguing watercolour from the Resident Artists' Gallery, Erratic, you are invited to google, this word alongside the word geology. All will be revealed. This red-dotted painting will remain in the gallery for just another week. If you can, while you can, come and see it. It is a prod that provokes the viewer to ponder.
